Rewa Engineering College
Rewa Engineering College has completed 50 years of its rich life this year. Rewa Engineering College Rewa (MP) formerly known as Government Engineering College or GEC Rewa, was established by the Govt. of MP in 1964 has blossomed into a pioneer technical education center in Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh. It is presently an associated college of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and is approved by the AICTE.
The institute is located in serene atmosphere of 250 Acres land of environment friendly campus. REC rewa having a huge collage building having spacious class rooms and well equipped laboratories, the campus of the institute encompasses boy’s hostels, girl’s hostels and faculty quarters. Institute has a central library which has vast collection of books, and a large number of subscribed online and print journals. The Institution has dedicated staff and students, who are committed to the overall development of institute.In addition, institute also houses various amenities such as Seminar Hall, Smart Class Room, Language Lab, Playgrounds, Indoor Sports, a branch of State Bank of India, Post office, Canteen, Common Rooms, Conference Rooms and office of Alumni Association.
Admission
The Institute offers four undergraduate programs, namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. All the courses are recognized by AICTE and are affiliated with RGPV, Bhopal.Admission to various courses is done through All India JEE (Mains) as per the guideline of Department of Technical Education and Skill Development, Govt. of MP.The Institute is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi Praudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal (MP) and is approved by AICTE. The Institute offers four Bachelor Degree Programmes with total 220 intake
